Rosemary Pure Essential Oil

The essential oil of the rosemary herb is steam distilled from the flowers, stems and leaves of the plant. According to the the British Pharmacopoeia, the oil distilled from the flowering tops is superior to that obtained from the stem and leaves, which is where nearly all commercial oil are said to be distilled. The smell of rosemary essential oil is woody and herbal and is used in aromatherapy to refresh and stimulate the mind.

This oil is helpful to treat wounds, burns, colds, flu, fatigue, digestive trouble, headaches, asthma, bronchitis, gout, rheumatism, liver and gall bladder problems, water retention and poor circulation. For a massage, rosemary oil is often mixed with a base oil or two like almond, apricot kernel or hazelnut oil. It is good for the hair as it is said to increase circulation to the scalp and promote hair growth. Never use this oil internally, and avoid it if you’re pregnant or suffer from high blood pressure or epilepsy.

Rosemary was well known and used in the ancient world. It was believed to improve memory, so it became a symbol of fidelity and was used in weddings, funerals and other religious ceremonies. A sprig of rosemary was tied beautifully with ribbons and handed to wedding guests as a symbol of love and loyalty. ‘Hungary water,’ made of fresh rosemary tops soaked in wine for a few days was made for the Queen of Hungary and is said to have cured her of paralysis.

Anica Ointment

Arnica is a very popular and well known natural treatment for bruises
but can also be used on sprains, strains and sore muscles. Arnica is
pain relieving, it counteracts inflammation and reduces swelling &
discoloration of the skin. When blood vessels are broken, blood escapes
and comes to rest in the surrounding tissue. This trapped blood is
responsible for unsightly "black and blue marks". Arnica reduces these
marks by helping the body reabsorb this trapped blood. To use- Apply a
small amount twice daily onto the required areas of skin and massage in.
Note- Do not use on broken skin. For external use only. This product
contains only natural ingredients with no chemical additives. It is
parabens free and SLS free. This product is not tested on animals.

Witch Hazel

The Indian
resemblance to the hazel tree and its wonderful healing virtues. Witches
ascribed magic powers to it, because of its astringent and vast
protective powers. The essential oil of witch hazel is not sold
separately as the plant does not produce enough essential oil to make
production viable. However, there are various distillates of witch hazel
such as this one called hydrosols or Witch Hazel waters. Witch hazel
hydrosol is a strong anti-oxidant and astringent, which makes it very
useful in fighting acne. It is often used as a natural remedy for
psoriasis, eczema and in aftershave applications. It is traditionally
known as a good first reaction against shaving cuts and abrasions for
men and women. Other uses for Witch Hazel include ingrown nails, cracked
or blistered skin, for treating insect bites and as a treatment for
varicose veins bruises, sprains sun burn and it is found in numerous
haemorrhoid preparations.

Comfrey Oil

Comfrey is one of natures greatest medicinal herbs and has been used
since about 400 BC as a healing herb. Throughout the ages Comfrey has
acquired an unrivalled reputation as a healing herb. Greeks and Romans
used comfrey to stop heavy bleeding, treat bronchial problems, and heal
wounds and broken bones. Indeed, its name derives from the Latin
"conferre", meaning “bring together” or “grow together”. In Medieval
times, Comfrey’s reputation for knitting broken bones flourished and it
was commonly referred to as knitbone and often called the heal-all herb,
it is also now very popular for arthritic pain. Comfrey oil is an
amazing all round healer famed for aiding rapid healing for a vast array
of skin injuries, broken bones and bone fractures. Comfreys most
important ingredient is the substance allatoin. Allatoin is believed to
be a cell proliferator, able to strengthen skin tissue, promoting the
growth and multiplication of cells and thus speeding healing. Avena
Comfrey oil can be applied directly to the skin to provide a wonderful
bonesetter on fractures or healing breaks, create a protective casing
around joints therefore been wonderful for arthritis and encourage new
skin growth. Apply directly to the effected area by massaging into the
skin or dab onto skin with cotton wool and massage in. For more serious
conditions, users may find it beneficial to soak a bandage or poultice
in comfrey oil and strap to the injured area. Do not use comfrey for
deep cuts or lacerations. All dressings should be changed at least once
per day.

pad (5 included) and insert into the diffuser, then place the diffuser
into the cigarette lighter outlet in your car and, after a moment, you
Lemongrass, Patchouli or Lime essential oils. To help with travel
sickness: Use Peppermint, Ginger or a combination of both to relieve
motion sickness and settle queasy stomachs. For long distance travel:
Try some Basil or Lemon essential oils to stimulate the mind and help
with awareness.

Calendula Cream

The calendula flowers contain a variety of compounds which are believed
to support wound healing. Calendula is thought to be anti-inflammatory,
constricting blood vessels to stop bleeding and is also said to be
anti-bacterial. Calendula was used during the American Civil War on
wounds to draw out infections. Topical uses of calendula cream would be
for cuts, scratches, grazes, acne, stretch marks, burns etc. Avena
calendula cream is the 'magic' cream any parent should always have handy
for grazed knees etc. but is great for adults too, just don't tell the
kids! Herbalists believe calendula is very versatile, speeding the
healing of wounds, making the skin more supple by increasing blood
supply to it, and soothing pain when used as a rub on cream such as
this. Calendula has also been traditionally used to support a healthy
digestive process. And Lutein, an antioxidant in marigold extract, is
known to support the health of the eyes. Calendula is also known as: Pot
Marigold, Calendula officinalis.

Easy Breathe Burning Oil

Blended with pure essential oils (not watered down or any carrier oil)
for a full strength burning oil. Place five drops of Easy Breathe in an
oil burner and top up with water and burn in room for relief from
blocked up cold and flu symptoms and a pleasant clearing aroma.
Alternatively at night or for children place 5 drops onto a damp clean
cloth and then drape the cloth on a radiator in room or bedroom at
night. The heat from the radiator acts as candle would vaporising the
oil into the room without the worry of a burning candle or water level
in a burner.

The quickest way to refresh your immediate environment, wherever you are is to spray some aroma mist around you. Choose from a range of wonderful fragrances like citronella, cinnamon & orange, lavender, japanese magnolia, jasmine, honeysuckle, hidden garden, freesia, nag champa, citrus blast, deep violet musk, baby powder, and feel relaxed and refreshed while also ridding the room of unpleasant smells or a depressing atmosphere.

With a quick spray of aroma mist, get rid of cooking odours or a musty smell, simply improve the ambience of your home before guests arrive. These sprays can be used for aromatherapy, where a particular fragrance creates a certain mood or helps you improve your state of mind. The sense of smell plays an important role in the way human beings feel and behave--and this is an important factor in the practise of aromatherapy.
In ancient times, fragrances were luxuries that only the wealthy and the important people could indulge themselves in. Equivalent or more valuable than gold and silver, perfumes and fragrance oils from fragrant herbs, spices and flowers were the main booty on board trade ships in those days. People risked their lives for them, set off on big adventures, and earned good monetary rewards for bringing home precious fragrances and spices from distant countries like India and the Middle East.

The 100ml bottles of Aroma Mist are expertly blended to enhance your living space. Cost is just £2.50 per bottle. Forget aerosols, Aroma Mist is great value for a great fragrance.

We now have over 50 fragrances of Incense sticks in stock. We stock pre-packaged and loose (pick 'n' mix) incense sticks. Most of our incense is imported from India and our main supplier takes time to visit all the factories and ensure that workers and out-workers are not exploited. As well as incense sticks, including the famous Nag Champa, we also sell incense cones and incense holders.

We also stock extra large incense sticks and incense cones for the garden to keep the insects away in the warmer weather.
